Carolyne Parks, M.D. is passionate about delivering exceptional healthcare to women of all ages. Throughout high school and college, Dr. Parks volunteered at local hospitals, building her enthusiasm for compassionate patient care. After graduating from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Biological Sciences, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her other passion, teaching. She taught middle and high school for several years, where she highly enjoyed helping young minds learn and grow.
Dr. Parks attended Chicago Medical School and discovered her love for all aspects of women’s health. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Adventist Health White Memorial in Los Angeles where she served as chief resident and was voted best resident educator by her colleagues. She also received the award for Outstanding Minimally Invasive Surgery Resident from the Society of Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeons.
Dr. Parks supports her patients in building a partnership that empowers them to become advocates in their own care. She has special interests in pregnancy and prenatal care, family planning, preventive medicine, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery including laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
In her free time, Dr. Parks enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and dog. She loves being outdoors, going to the beach, growing fruits and vegetables, and trying new cuisines.
